This policy describes the cookies we use on garbox.pt, what they are for, and how you can control your preferences.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a site places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit it. They allow recognising you between visits, remembering preferences and improving the browsing experience. There are cookies from Garbox itself and third-party cookies (e.g. Google Maps when consented).
2. Cookie categories used
We split cookies into three categories you can manage individually: • Essential: required for basic site operation (session, security, cookie preferences). Cannot be disabled. • Analytics: help us understand how the site is used (most viewed pages, time on page). Anonymised and enabled only with your consent. • Marketing: allow third-party content like Google Maps embeds. Enabled only with your consent.

4. How to manage your preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time: • Through the cookie banner that appears on first visit • Clicking "Customise" to choose by category • Clearing browser cookies to bring back the banner • Configuring your browser to block cookies (see instructions below)
5. Blocking cookies in the browser
You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or alert you when a cookie is sent. See your browser's documentation: • Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies • Firefox: about:preferences#privacy • Safari: Preferences → Privacy • Edge: edge://settings/content/cookies Note: blocking essential cookies may prevent the site from working correctly (e.g. unable to change language or save preferences).
6. Policy changes
This policy may be updated when we add or remove cookies. We always publish the updated version with the last revision date.
